about Shari … Shari’s ‘work life’ has included 10 years in conveyancing for local lawyers, followed by 25+ years in real estate - as a salesperson, Branch Manager and Trainer for a corporate agency. In 2014 she decided to go ‘independent’, and that is how Indie Real Estate was started, based on her belief that a smaller owner/operator business can be just as professional as a larger corporate whilst offering a more personal ‘one on one’ experience.
She tells us ... “Clients sell for different reasons, but it is always about change, and change often comes with stress. It is my job to alleviate some of that stress by simplifying the process, heading off any potential problems before they arrive and keeping my clients fully updated with buyer feedback and any changes to the market.”
Shari’s personal life has revolved around family, her garden and her love of learning. No-one who knows her, is surprised to hear of her learning projects (in her spare time) which have included studying career counselling, budgeting, coaching, nutrition and wellbeing. She loves to cook, which Richard, her partner, is very grateful for, and together they have supported various local charities by organising art exhibitions and fundraisers (utilising Richard’s skills in art and graphic design and Shari’s skills in marketing).
